| HENRY COUNTY FISCAL COURT MINUTES |

| Notice: These are the "unofficial" minutes of the Henry County Fiscal Court Meetings. By procedure, these minutes will not be official until after the next regular council meeting is held and minutes are approved. |
The Henry County Fiscal Court met in a regular session on April 18, 2006 at the Courthouse in New Castle, Kentucky with the following in attendance:

RE: PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Judge Executive John Brent led the Court in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
RE: PRAYER & PREPARATION
Silent prayer was observed in preparation for the meeting.
RE: CALL TO ORDER
Judge Executive John Brent called the meeting to order and noted everyone was present.
RE: APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon motion by Esq. Brown and seconded by Esq. Allgeier, it is ordered by the Court to approve the minutes from the March 21, 2006 regular meeting.
Motion carried unanimously
RE: OLD BUSINESS
There being no Old Business the meeting proceeded to New Business.
RE: NEW BUSINESS
RE: ROAD UPDATE
Glenn Baxter, Henry County Road Supervisor, reminded the Court of the Third Annual Henry County Clean Sweep and noted any and all help would be appreciated. He also asked the Magistrates to be prepared in the next two weeks to ride with him to look at the roads in their district that they would like blacktopped.
Motion carried unanimously
RE: EMS UPDATE AND SUPERVISOR APPROVAL
Upon motion by Esq. Gunnell and seconded by Esq. Brown, it is ordered by the Court to approve the recommendation from the EMS Committee to hire Scott McClamroch as the new EMS Supervisor and to set his salary at $27,500 annually retroactive to February 10th.
Motion carried unanimously
Scott McClamroch, EMS Supervisor, gave the Court an update on the ambulance remount. He will be posting for the assistance supervisor position. Scott will do the interviews and will bring back his recommendation to the Court at the May meeting.
RE: 911 REQUEST – KY RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT
Upon motion by Esq. Fisher and seconded by Esq. Beasley, it is ordered by the Court to accept the 911 Committee recommendation to purchase a repeater in the amount of $1614.75 for a new fire truck for KY River Fire Department.
Motion carried unanimously
RE: RESOLUTION FOR LAND AND WATER GRANT
Upon motion by Esq. McCarty and seconded by Esq. Allgeier, it is ordered by the Court to adopt the Resolution for the Land and Water Grant.
Motion carried unanimously
RE: PLANNING & ZONING – ZONE CHANGE REQUEST FOR ZARING LAND DEVELOPMENT
Upon motion by Esq. Brown and seconded by Esq. McCarty, it is ordered by the Court to change the zoning from A-1 to A-2 for the Zaring Land Development located at 1499 Pendleton Road (formerly Smith property).
Motion carried unanimously
RE: REQUEST TO ADDRESS ROAD EASEMENT IN DEERFIELD – DOUG BATES TO PRESENT
Upon motion by Esq. McCarty and seconded by Esq. Gunnell, it is ordered by the Court to deed back the easement as per plat, after the County Attorney has drawn up the document and all adjoining land owners have agreed and signed off.

RE: SET SPECIAL MEETING/ 1ST READING OF 2006-2007 BUDGET
Judge Brent set Monday, May 1, 2006 at 5:00 in the Courtroom at the Courthouse for a special meeting for the review and first reading of the 2006-2007 Budget.
RE: REGULAR MAY MEETING/CHANGE DATE DUE TO ELECTION
The regular May meeting will be held on May 23, 2006 at 6:00 due to the Primary Election being held on the date of the regular scheduled meeting.
RE: COUNTY CLEAN SWEEP – APRIL 20-22 AT COUNTY RD BARN
Judge Brent reminded the Court of the Third Annual Henry County Clean Sweep. He asked the Court to help if possible.
RE: VOTING MACHINE APPROVAL – CO CLERK JUANITA LASHLEY TO PRESENT
Upon motion by Esq. Brown and seconded by Esq. Gunnell, it is ordered by the Court to approve the addition of voting machines in all voting precincts.

RE: CLAIMS & TRANSFERS
Upon motion by Esq. Beasley and seconded by Esq. Allgeier, it is ordered by the Court to approve the following claims and transfers:

RE: COURT COMMENTS
Esq. Gunnell informed the Court that the scoreboards had been installed at the park. He was not satisfied with the size of the lettering on the Sponsor Logos and he will contact the company. Esq. Gunnell suggested the Court recognize the Sponsors sometime this spring.
Upon motion by Esq. Brown and seconded by Esq. Allgeier, it is ordered by the Court to allow the sponsors indefinite advertising on the scoreboards.

RE: ADJOURN
Upon motion by Esq. McCarty and seconded by Esq. Allgeier, it is ordered by the Court to adjourn and each Magistrate, the Judge Executive and County Attorney shall receive a typed copy of these minutes prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting.
