12th Annual Henry County Harvest Showcase
& Lunch at the Farmer's Market

Saturday July 30, 2011 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

7:00 a.m.	Live broadcast with Reed Yadon, WHAS 11 meteorologist
7:30 a.m.	Henry County Chamber of Commerce Breakfast (old ham and fresh eggs)
10 a.m.-4 p.m.	Petting Barn & Livestock Exhibit @ Ag Arena Kids Games & Hay Rides by FFA @ 4H Building (games to include soybean box, thimble in the haystack, corn hole, & more) Local Produce Sales
10 a.m.	Antique Tractor Show and games (all day)
10:30 a.m.	Horseshoeing Demonstration by Mike Radcliff
10 a.m.-3 p.m.	Henry County High School Band & Music 'N a Box with Special Guest, Patrick Henry Hughes and Robby Cox Band
11 a.m. -2 p.m.	Lunch at the Farmer's Market (featuring locally prepared vegetables, meats and barbecue)
12pm	Recognition of Special Guests
12:30 p.m.-1 p.m.	Sweet Corn Eating Contest - $100 prize by Capstone Produce Market
1 p.m	Regional Farmers Meeting @ 4H Building A currently forming Regional Farmers group sponsored by Henry County Farmers will meet. This event is a grassroots attempt to promote the agricultural economy to local residents and also an opportunity to reach out to our city neighbors and help them to reconnect with the land.
1:00 p.m. -1:30 p.m.	The Country Kickers Line Dancers
2 p.m.	Cornhole Tournament (sign ups 1 p.m. @ 4H building) Henry County Ag Diversification Antigue Tractor Show
4 p.m.	Antique Tractor Pull

From I-64 – Lexington
Exit 35. Make a right at the top of ramp. Go to the 4-way stop light (McD’s will be on the left). Go straight through the red light. Remain on Highway 55 until you see the ball fields on the right and a sign directing you to Pleasureville and Frankfort. The Henry County Fairgrounds will be on the left.

From I-64 – Louisville
Exit 35. Make a left at the top of ramp. Go to the 4-way stop light (McD’s will be on the left). Go straight through the red light. Remain on Highway 55 until you see the ball fields on the right and a sign directing you to Pleasureville and Frankfort. The Henry County Fairgrounds will be on the left.

From I-71 – Louisville
Exit 28, Sligo/Pendleton. Make a right at the top of the ramp. Go to the 4-way stop. Make a left onto Highway 146. Go 8 miles to New Castle. At the 4-way stop in New Castle make a right. Remain on Highway 55. Go past the High School on the left. Turn left at the sign directing you to Pleasureville and Frankfort. . The Henry County Fairgrounds will be on the left.

From I-71 – Cincinnati
